Data Deletion Request

When you use Briefd, we store the following personal data:

• •Account data — your name, email address, username, and password hash.
• •Profile data — your bio, portfolio tags, avatar, and earnings history.
• •Payment records — transaction amounts and timestamps (card data is held by Stripe, not us).
• •Design files — submitted work uploaded to Briefd, stored encrypted on Supabase Storage.
• •Chat messages — messages sent in negotiation threads.
• •Device data — IP address and device fingerprint used for platform security.
• •Usage data — pages visited and interactions with the platform.

A full data deletion request will remove your account, profile, uploaded files, chat messages, and usage data from our systems. The following data may be retained:

• •Financial records — transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years for legal and accounting compliance, with personal identifiers removed where possible.
• •Ban enforcement data — if your account was permanently banned for violating our zero tolerance policy, your device fingerprint and IP address will be retained to prevent re-registration. This data cannot be deleted.

• •Submit the form below or email support@briefd.design directly.
• •We will verify your identity by confirming you control the email address on your account.
• •Deletion will be completed within 30 days of your verified request.
• •You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
