Report Design Theft
Every file submitted on Briefd is steganographically fingerprinted. If your work has been stolen, we can verify ownership and issue a DMCA notice on your behalf.
How Briefd protects your work
When you submit a file to a brief on Briefd, it is automatically watermarked and embedded with an invisible steganographic fingerprint unique to you and that submission. This fingerprint survives cropping, screenshotting, colour-grading, and re-uploads.
If you discover your work being used without payment or permission, Briefd can:
- •Verify that the fingerprint in the stolen file matches your original submission
- •Generate a DMCA takedown notice with your proof of authorship
- •Permanently ban the infringing party from the platform
- •Assist with any legal action by providing a signed certificate of submission timestamp
